Eid al-Adha Dresses for Rohingya Women & Girls
Testimony Tailors are now busy making dresses in preparation for the festival of Eid al-Adha. It is traditional for Muslims to wear their best clothes on the day of Eid and Rohingya women are just like any others in that they love to wear a new dress on this special day. Most Rohingya women and girls had to flee Myanmar wearing only the clothes they were wearing, so receiving a new dress as a gift is something very special.
Now Rohingya refugees are living through another extra trying period as many organisations have left the camps and economic activity has almost stopped due to the coronavirus. This makes the work of Testimony Tailors, who are able to continue working from their homes, even more important and your support is essential. Please buy a dress as a gift here and it will be a big help to these women and their families.
All dresses ordered here will be made and distributed to Rohingya women and girls for Eid. You will be emailed a photo of your gift after it has been delivered.
Every dress has been hand crafted by one of the Rohingya Testimony Tailors. Materials and styles vary, so you too can be sure of a beautiful surprise when you receive the photo of your gift delivered.
A small amount of the profit will be given to the Rohingya women’s sewing co-operative. Most of the profit will be given to the Rohingya woman who made the item.

Note: Due to coronavirus lockdown restrictions there may be some delays in making and delivering some of the orders, but we will try our best to deliver in time for Eid and as soon as we are able if that is not possible. We thank you for your patience.
